Colgate University Study Group
Supporting the ever-expanding group of students majoring, minoring, or generally interested in Film & Media Studies at Colgate University, the NYC study group is co-designed to be of interest to students engaged in performing, media, and visual arts broadly.
Located in New York City, the study group immerses fifteen Colgate University undergraduate students in rich cultural and artistic scenes, offering students new opportunities and frameworks in which to engage with the arts circularly and co-circularly.

Variety / Gotham Week
Students will have an all-access pass to Variety / Gotham Week’s Expo sessions and conference, as well as screenings, and networking events. This is a great opportunity for students to exercise their networking skills, enrich their knowledge of the industry, and connect with communities from across the country that champion underserved communities.
Gotham Awards
Study group participants will also play a key role in the production of this year’s Gotham Awards taking place in November. Students work with the Gotham Award’s team in the production and facilitation of the event. Participants will also be able to celebrate and enjoy the night with the Gotham team.
