Scott Macaulay is Filmmaker’s co-founder and Editor-in-Chief. He is also a working film producer and head of the NYC production company Forensic Films. Among his producing credits are Kitty Green’s “The Assistant” and “Casting JonBenet,” Alice Wu’s “Saving Face,” Peter Sollett’s “Raising Victor Vargas,” Harmony Korine’s “Gummo” and “julien-donkey-boy,” and Tom Noonan’s “What Happened Was…” and “The Wife.” With Forensic Films co-founder Robin O’Hara he is the recipient of a Spirit Award for independent producing, and he also received the Cinereach Producer Award. He has spoken and been a mentor at the Sundance Documentary Program, CPH:LAB, the Biennale College Cinema and the Dubai International Film Festival, among others. Prior to working in film he was the Programming Director of the New York’s experimental art center The Kitchen.
