Keiko Deguchi, Editor, IN A DREAM, CATS OF MIRIKATANI
Keiko Deguchi has edited over 30 films, both narrative and documentary films. Her documentary film credit includes award-winning films such as Jeremiah Zagar’s “In A Dream” (HBO), Linda Hattendorf’s “The Cats of Mirikitani”(PBS). Her narrative film credits are: Susan Seidelman’s “The Boynton Beach Club” and “Musical Chairs”, Steven Shainberg’s “Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus,” Jonathan Parker’s “(Untitled),” and Bette Gordon’s “Handsome Harry” among many others. She is the recipient of the James Lyons Editing Award at the Woodstock Film Festival in 2008.

MICHAEL A. JACKMAN is Regional Vice President, Business Development for Deluxe Creative Services, part of the Deluxe Entertainment Services Group owned by Ronald O. Perelman. Michael also serves as Co-Chair of the New York Production Alliance, a group of entertainment professionals who have joined together to promote and create job growth in New York City and New York State. A filmmaker with 25 years experience, Michael graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and moved to New York to begin a career in film. From 1986 to 1996 Michael worked in different capacities on films such including MISSISSIPPI BURNING, CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, THE GRIFTERS, and CAPE FEAR. In 1996, Michael moved to Los Angeles to work for Turner Pictures. After leaving Turner Michael produced a number of independent films and in 1999 post supervised Oliver Stone’s ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. For the next few years Michael partnered with Jason Alexander (SEINFELD) developing and producing the AGENT CODY BANKS films and BOB PATTERSON for ABC/Fox. Returning to New York in 2002, Michael post supervised many films including GANGS OF NEW YORK, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, THE AVIATOR and SUPER SIZE ME. In 2005 Michael became Senior Vice President of Post Production for The Weinstein Company where he oversaw post on more than 40 films including SiCKO, THE NANNY DIARIES, and GRINDHOUSE before coming to Deluxe in 2007 as Vice President and General Manager of Deluxe New York. After overseeing construction of the 45,000 facility in the West Village and spending 3½ years successfully establishing Deluxe New York as the premier post production facility in the region, Michael was recently promoted to a regional role in the creative services group. Michael lives in New Jersey with his wife, two children.
