Noah Harlan, Founder, Two-Bulls
Noah Harlan is an Emmy Award winning filmmaker, producer of six feature films, and co-founder of Two Bulls, one of the leading developers of mobile and immersive experiences.
Lance Weiler, Founder, The Workbook Project
Lance Weiler is a storyteller, entrepreneur and thought leader. An alumni of the Sundance Screenwriting lab, he is recognized as a pioneer because of the way he mixes storytelling and technology. WIRED magazine named him “One of twenty-five people helping to re-invent entertainment and change the face of Hollywood.” Always interested in experimenting with new ways to tell stories and engage audiences, Lance has designed experiences that have reached millions of people via theaters, mobile devices and online. In recognition of these storytelling innovations, BUSINESSWEEK named Lance “One of the 18 Who Changed Hollywood.” Lance is recognized as a thought leader in the entertainment space. He sits on a World Economic Forum steering committee for the future of content creation, is part of a think tank on the future of film at NYU and teaches at Columbia University on the art, craft and business of storytelling in the 21st Century. He is the founder of the WorkBook Project, an open creative network for storytellers and the co-founder of DIY DAYS a roving conference for those create. Since 2009, he has written a column for Filmmaker Magazine on the collision of storytelling and technology entitled Culture Hacker.
Bob Jensen, Director, New Media Contracts, Screen Actors Guild
Bob Jensen is the director of New Media Contracts for Screen Actors Guild. Bob oversees the Guild’s New Media Agreement while working closely with the National New Technologies Committee, Interactive Committee, Performance Capture Committee, and Organizing Committee, as well as the negotiating committees for all of SAG’s contracts. In addition, Bob is tasked with raising Screen Actors Guild’s profile in the digital arena by working closely with SAG members and new media companies.
Bob is a lawyer and comes to the New Media Department from Theatrical Contracts, where worked with the Interactive and Internet contracts. Before coming to the Guild, Bob maintained an entertainment, digital media, intellectual property, business development and corporate law practice, and he served in an of-counsel capacity at several Southern California law firms. He also has extensive experience in the development side of physical production.
Bob has bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of California, Berkley and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
Ingrid Kopp, Editor in Chief, Shooting People
Ingrid Kopp is Editor-in-Chief of Shooting People in the US. She is also the New Media Consultant for the TFI New Media Fund. She teaches Digital Bootcamp workshops on film, technology, outreach and engagement.
Braden King, Director; TRUCKSTOP Media
Braden King is a New York-based filmmaker and visual artist. His most recent feature, HERE, premiered at the 2011 Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals and will be distributed by Strand in early 2012. A live installation piece, HERE [ THE STORY SLEEPS ], premiered at MoMA in 2010.
