Lesli Klainberg, Producer, Director, and Co-founder, Orchard Films
Lesli Klainberg is an award-winning producer and director whose documentaries have screened at the Berlin, Sundance and Provincetown Film Festivals, and have been broadcast on Cinemax, AMC, A&E, IFC, WE, PBS and Channel 4. Documentaries include; Indie Sex (2007, IFC); Fabulous! The Story Of Queer Cinema (2006, IFC); In The Company Of Women (IFC, 2004); Indie Sex: Taboos (IFC, 2001); Beauty In A Jar (A&E, 2003); Directed By Alan Smithee (AMC, 2002);Miss America (PBS’ “American Experience,” 2001); Paul Monette: The Brink Of Summer’s End (Cinemax, 1997); and The Real Ellen Story (Bravo/Channel 4 (UK), 1997). For the last three years, Lesli has been an IFP Documentary Lab Leader and currently, she is working as the producer of the New York Film Festival.
