About
The Gotham is the sole U.S. Partner Organization for the Cannes Producers Network, annually selecting up to seven experienced producers to participate. Running concurrently with the Cannes Film Festival and the Marche du Film, the Cannes Producers Network is specifically designed for experienced producers to build up their international networks and share expertise on the international production, financing, legal and packaging. More information on the Producers Network can be found here.The Gotham/Cannes Producers Network Fellowship will be an in-person Fellowship this year. The Producers Network will take place May 14 – 22: selected Fellows are expected to book their own travel and accommodations. A modest stipend from The Gotham will be provided to assist with those costs. All applicants will be notified via e-mail in mid-March.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Cannes Producers Network Fellowship, an applicant must be U.S.-based, meaning either a U.S. citizen and/or a producer currently living & working here in the U.S. Applicants also must have produced a feature film (fiction or documentary) that has been commercially released in the U.S. within the last four years. A commercial release meaning an acquisition for traditional theatrical release and/or a virtual theatrical via a distributor, or a commercial release via a global streaming platform (“original”).

Guidelines
For selected producers, The Gotham covers the cost of accreditation to the Marche du Film. More information on the Marche du Film can be found here. As a reminder, the 2024 Fellowship is an in-person Fellowship, with The Gotham providing a modest stipend to assist with travel and accommodations.
