Before directing TERRI, which premiered in competition at Sundance 2011, Azazel Jacobs wrote and directed one of the most critically lauded films of 2008, ” Momma’s Man”. He also directed (and co-wrote) micro-indie “The GoodTimesKid” and the video piece “Nobody Needs To Know.” He was raised in NYC, surrounded by important and innovative artists such as his father and mother, Ken & Flo Jacobs, and studied film making at both S.U.N.Y. Purchase and A.F.I.
