Before beginning your application, it is strongly advised that you carefully review the application and prepare your materials offline in a separate document, as many components of the application have essay-type answers and word count limits. Applications must be complete and all pertinent materials and fees must be received by The Gotham for your submission to be considered.
Please note, to access the application form, you must log in with your Gotham Membership-associated email address and password. If you do not know your password, use the “Retrieve Password” function.

Submission Fees: You must pay a submission fee to complete your application. The fee for those who submit by the Early Deadline is $45; the fee for those who submit by the Final Deadline is $60. Please note: to apply at the Early Deadline discounted rate, you must finalize and complete payment prior to the deadline.
Application Materials
Scripted fiction series, whether they are short-form (under 40 minutes) or long-form (over 40 minutes), including limited or anthology series, may be submitted for consideration.
Projects may be in the development stage, with a pilot script and pitch or series bible, or the post-production or distribution stage, which might mean a completed, unreleased series.
Submitted projects cannot have premiered nor been sold to any network, partner, studio, or website prior to participating in Gotham Week (September 2023). Projects associated with a production company or with development deals in the works are eligible for the Project Market and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
A complete application includes:
— A pilot script and/or proof of concept video (up to the entire unreleased series) via a password-protected link.
— A pitch deck detailing key information about the series overall, or a show bible with a detailed overview of the narrative arc of the project.
— Projects with one or more episodes in post-production must submit the pilot.
