  • Yes, you will be able to request a complimentary badge if you’re being accompanied by a personal attendant.

  • Yes, you can request a badge during the week in person or in advance by emailing [email protected] 

What accessibility capabilities do the Navy Yard shuttles have? 

·       A selection of the Navy Yard shuttles are ADA accessible. Reach out [email protected] if you have any questions. You can also see here for more transportation options to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, including ADA accessible MTA buses.

Can I bring service animals to Gotham Week? 

·       Yes, you can bring service animals to Gotham Week.

How will I know if a Gotham Week screening has strobe lighting?

·       A disclaimer will be included in the Gotham Week program for any specific screenings with strobe lighting.

Is Building 303 wheelchair accessible?

·       Yes. Building 303 is wheelchair accessible, equipped with elevators. 

Does Building 303 have wheelchair accessible entrances? Where can I locate those entrances?

·       Yes, Building 303 is wheelchair accessible. The locations are ramps connected to the same main entrance as the stairway.

Does Building 303 have accessibility options for attendees who are blind/low vision?

Building 92

Is Building 92 wheelchair accessible?

·       Yes. Building 92 is wheelchair accessible, equipped with elevators.

·       Yes, sensory friendly spaces will be available at Gotham Week.

What will sensory friendly spaces at Gotham Week look like? 

·       There will be two (2) lounge areas in Building 303 that are sensory-friendly to the events taking place during Gotham Week.

ACCESSIBILITY DESK

Where will the accessibility desk be located at Gotham Week?

·       The main accessibility desk will be located next to registration at the entrance of Building 303’s 9th floor, which is accessible via elevator and ramp. There will also be Gotham Week volunteers available at the entrance of the ground floors of Buildings 92 & 303 to assist and guide any attendees.

What are the hours of the Gotham Week accessibility desk?

·       The desks will be open at 9am every day during the week, and will end at the start of the last event of each day.

VIRTUAL ACCESS

·       The Gotham Accessibility team is working on closed, open and live captioning options for Gotham Week virtual events, as well as audio descriptions and ASL interpretation.
