195 Lewis Creator, Writer and Producer Rae Leone Allen (2015)
“The Gotham Screen Forward Labs invigorated the trajectory of the 195 Lewis project. In a time when serialized online content is much like the Wild West, The Gotham is on the cutting edge introducing us and our project to people in every facet of the industry. These introductions blossom into relationships, and these relationships nourish the process. The most valuable relationships, though, are the ones developed in the Lab with fellow filmmakers. Often, independent storytelling is a lonely journey. Most simply put, the lab is a community of support. Shout out to the 2015 Screen Lab Fellows! This community makes space for vulnerability around the difficulties of the filmmaking process, and the fresh eyes of fellow filmmakers offer invaluable insights. 195 Lewis owes much of our progress to The Gotham.”
